Activities Assistant- Memory Care

Responsibilities

  • Invite and encourage residents to attend memory support meetings and activities.
  • Plan and facilitate a daily morning meeting for memory care residents.
  • Lead stimulating cognitive exercise.
  • Maintain required documentation of resident participation in programs.

    • Requirements

    • Prior experience in retirement living preferred but not required.
    • A High School diploma or GED.
    • A valid Driver’s license.
    • The ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
    • The ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.

    Pay

    Pay starts at $17.00-$18.00/hour with the opportunity to earn more based on experience!

    Schedule

    Full-time 9:00am to 5:00pm, with every other weekend and every other holiday OFF. Week one: Work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday. Week two: Work Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday (11am-7pm), Thursday, Friday.
