Activities Assistant/Bus Driver Assisted Living

About the role

The Activity Assistant/Bus Driver plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents at Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living. They are responsible for creating engaging activities and providing safe transportation services.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities.
• Connect with residents to understand their emotional and social needs.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to support residents holistically.
• Balanced daily schedules, multiple residents, and activity prep.
• Provide safe and secure travel for residents using appropriate equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three months' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be 25 years or older.
• Operator's license in good standing.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
