If you enjoy making a difference in people's lives, consider joining our Activities Department. Here's how you can make a difference:
- Assist in activities to meet the social, emotional, physical, and other therapeutic needs of residents.
- Auxiliary in initiating and promoting activities both within and outside the facility.
- Provide in-room activities for residents who cannot attend daily events.
- Create an ongoing calendar of activities.
- Maintain compliance with State Standards for activity scheduling and documentation.
- Solicit community involvement in planning facility activities and events.
What You Need to Make a Difference
- Previous Activities/Healthcare Experience preferred, but not required.
- CNA Preferred, but not required.
- Skilled at working with individuals who have cognitive, physical, or sensory disabilities.
