About the role
Regency Hermiston is seeking an Activities Assistant to join their compassionate and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will partner with top-notch leadership, a supportive work environment, and a mission-driven organization that serves others.
Responsibilities
- Provide and supervise enrichment opportunities to meet the physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and recreational needs of each patient/resident.
- Aid the care team and residents' families in helping residents reach their highest potential.
- Offer resident activities both on a group and individual basis.
- Promote and adhere to the monthly schedule of activities.
- Document medical records regarding residents' attitudes, participation levels, and attend care conferences.
- Report directly to the activities director.
Requirements
- Work independently.
- Relate positively and effectively with others.
- Advocate for the senior population.
- Hold a valid driver's license and possess a private vehicle.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to plan and execute activities.
- Knowledge of health and wellness principles.

Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
