About the role
Regency Hermiston is seeking an Activities Assistant to join their compassionate and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will partner with top-notch leadership, a work family, and a place with a mission of serving others.
Responsibilities
- Provide and supervise enrichment opportunities to meet the physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and recreational needs of each patient/resident.
- Assist the care team and residents' families, helping residents reach their highest potential.
- Provide resident activities on a group and individual basis.
- Promote and follow the monthly schedule of activities.
- Document medical records regarding residents' attitude, participation level, etc., and attend care conferences.
- Report to the activities director.
Requirements
- Currently works independently.
- Relates positively and effectively with others.
- Advocates for the senior population.
- Possesses a valid driver's license and private vehicle.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Valid driver's license and private vehicle.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and ability to relate to seniors.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
