About the role
Forest Hills Assisted Living Retirement & Care Center seeks compassionate and thoughtful individuals to join our team. We partner with skilled nursing centers to support a small team environment of caring professionals.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, pre-plan and implement floor activities based on center activity schedule
- Use monthly calendar ideas to plan and organize special floor activities
- Prepare special snacks with residents
- Set up the dining room tables for activities
- Clean up after all activities
- Complete required logs and charting
- Keep all activity areas clean, safe and free from clutter
- Absorb residents to and from common areas as stated by their care plan
- Absorb other departments with residents as needed and required
- Weekends, holidays and evenings required
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or general equivalency
- 6 college credits in applicable study as required by NCCAP
- 500 hours of experience in activity programming
- Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant or NCCAP Certification
