About the role

We seek compassionate and thoughtful individuals who share our passion for exceptional care in senior living. You will be part of a small team environment of caring professionals supported by a vast network of skilled nursing centers.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, pre-plan and implement floor activities based on center activity schedule
  • Use Monthly calendar ideas to plan and organize “special” floor activities
  • Prepare special snacks with residents
  • Set-up the dining room tables for activities
  • Clean-up after all activities
  • Complete required logs and charting
  • Keep all activity areas clean, safe, and free from clutter
  • Auxiliary residents to and from common areas as stated by their care plan
  • Auxiliary other departments with residents as needed and required
  • Weekends, holidays, and evenings required

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or general equivalency
  • 6 college credits in applicable study as required by NCCAP
  • 500 hours of experience in activity programming
  • Certification as Occupational Therapy Assistant or NCCAP Certification
