About the role

Seminole Care & Rehab seeks compassionate and thoughtful individuals to join our team. We partner with skilled nursing centers to support a small team of dedicated professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
  • Affords assistance to Activities Supervisor with daily activities and helps obtain supplies
  • Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care
  • Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
  • Assists residents with range of motion exercises, movement to wheelchair or activity areas, and short distance ambulation within the center
  • Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
  • Provides direct and indirect resident care services
  • Maintains communication with residents and their family members, and facility staff
  • Communicates changes in residents' clinical conditions to the nursing team
  • Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred
  • Must pass a state-issued exam
  • Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication
  • Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
  • Effective communication skills with residents and their family members, and facility staff
