Job Summary

Provide activities to patients who have impairments, activity limitations, or participation restrictions resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.

Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Maintain and utilize technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Essential Functions
  • Assist in monitoring activity supply inventory.
  • Transportation: transports patients by wheelchair, cart, bed, and bassinet.
  • Individual and group activities programs are carried out according to established procedures, maintaining records of participants, and providing craft supplies, games, or other needed tools for the program.
  • Activities programs are promoted to build awareness and achieve attendance goals.

Education

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • This role does not accept experience in lieu of a degree.

Licenses and Credentials

  • Experience: Previous activities experience is preferred, with 0-1 year being acceptable.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
  • Computer proficiency is required, with the ability to learn new software.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, working with a varied population.
  • Work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
  • Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
