Responsibilities
- Implement an engaging social program for our residents.
- Lead both small and large group activities, events, and opportunities for our residents to learn new things.
- Create an environment that promotes a sense of well-being and the feeling of true community in a gracious, homelike setting.
- Pursue creative interests like the Arts and music, provide opportunities for socialization, promote a wellness program that includes physical exercise and mindfulness, provide outlets for spiritual fulfillment, and create environments for residents to focus on continuous learning, cognition stimulation, and family/friends engagement.
- Execute a mission-driven role that helps our residents maintain a sense of purpose, feel valued, and necessary in the world.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- At least 1 year in customer service, event planning, or leading groups
- Current negative TB test
- Willingness to learn how to work in a healthcare/assisted living environment
- Ability to pass criminal record/background check
- Valid driver’s license with a qualifying driver abstract
- Good time management skills
- Must be able to work well independently with little oversight
