Activities Assistant

About the role

Stillwater Health Care is seeking an Activities Assistant to join their dynamic team. This full-time position includes weekend and evening shifts to accommodate the diverse needs of residents.

Responsibilities

• Execute a daily schedule of activities including music, arts and crafts, exercise classes, games, and religious services.
• Provide one-on-one engagement for residents who may be unable to attend group functions.
• Contribute new ideas for monthly calendars catering to diverse cognitive and physical abilities, including memory care.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress as required by state and federal regulations.
• Assist in the safe transport of residents to and from activity areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move activity equipment (up to 25 lbs).
• CNA certification is a plus but not required.
• Valid Maine Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Computer skills.
• CPR Certification.
