Activities Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an Activities Aide to join our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, energetic, and experienced in planning and leading engaging activities for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead activities, projects, and games reflecting each resident's individual interests
• Facilitate one-on-one, small group, and large group activities in a positive, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting or coursework in recreation therapy is a plus
• Previous experience with a geriatric population is preferred
