Activities Aide Weekends

Make Every Day More Meaningful Do you enjoy bringing energy, positivity, and a little fun to the people around you? Avalon Rehab & Care Center is looking for a weekend Activities Aide to join our team and help create meaningful, engaging experiences for our residents. In this role, you’ll help plan and facilitate recreational activities that encourage socialization, creativity, movement, and connection. Most importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to build genuine relationships with residents and make their days brighter. Schedule: Every other Saturday and Sunday 9A-5P, 4 shifts per month. What You’ll Do as a Activities Aide Assist with planning and leading recreational and social activities for residentsEncourage residents to participate in games, crafts, music, entertainment, and group programsProvide one-on-one activities for residents who may prefer individualized engagementHelp prepare activity materials, supplies, and the activity areaEncourage resident interaction and participation in a positive, welcoming environmentAssist with special events, holiday programs, and community activitiesInteract with residents in a friendly, respectful, and compassionate mannerObserve resident preferences and interests and communicate them to the Recreation/Activities teamHelp maintain a clean, organized, and inviting activity environmentFollow facility policies and resident safety guidelines Why Join Avalon?
