Activities Aide

Garden Spring Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an energetic and compassionate Activities Aide to support the planning and implementation of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities.

• Assist in planning and leading daily group and individual activities for residents
• Encourage resident participation in social, recreational, and therapeutic programs
• Support special events, holiday programs, and community outings
• Set up and clean activity areas and supplies before and after programs
• Document resident participation and responses to activities
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support residents’ emotional and social needs
• Provide companionship and support to residents during activities
• Follow safety, infection control, and facility guidelines

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in long-term care, recreation, or activities programming preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with elderly and rehabilitation populations
• Creative, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

• Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities available
