About the role

The Life Enrichment Activities Aide at Dimondale Nursing Care Center is responsible for delivering and leading life enrichment programs designed to enhance the physical and mental well-being of residents.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in all interactions with guests, their families, and visitors.
• Aid and lead group and individual life enrichment programs.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment programs and transport participants as needed.
• Evaluate residents based on their backgrounds, interests, abilities, and needs for meaningful programs.
• Create and maintain thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.

Requirements

• One year of related experience in long-term care preferred.
• A degree in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing exceptional care.
• A team player who is dedicated to supporting colleagues and achieving team goals.
