Responsibilities
- Driving company vehicles to transport Residents
- Providing a high level of customer service to residents and Team Members by achieving the standards as outlined in the MG CARES program
- Assists with planning, coordinating and participating in a variety of social events/outings to provide a vibrant and active community life to residents
- Engages residents, families and the external community in activities and volunteer opportunities that promote socialization, expand personal interests, increase physical activity, and continue education
- Tracks resident activity participation and work with Assisted Living Program Director to adjust calendar events accordingly
- Stays abreast of active aging and generational trends to enhance the community program; creates and shares relevant best practices with both community staff and Active Living Program Directors
- Assists with developing community communications, such as activities calendars, to residents, families, and prospective residents
- Transports and/or accompanies residents to and from outside activities, shopping trips, and appointments in community vehicles
- Sets up and cleans up activities (e.g., moving furniture, set up of tables, chairs, etc.)
- Acknowledges residents’ special days (i.e., anniversaries and birthdays)
- Conducts tours of the community when necessary
- Participates and attends all in-service training and education programs as scheduled
- Assists with ordering and managing supplies for all activities
- Takes responsibility for vehicle inspection as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma required; College Degree or equivalent preferred
- One to two years related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prefer social activity involvement
- Senior living experience preferred
Physical Requirements
This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
