Responsibilities
Responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments; assessing physical health needs; making appropriate referrals to community physicians; providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist/nurse practitioner; providing a wide range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services; sharing shift-management responsibilities with other staff; provides direct case management services to individuals, conducts medication education, and performs necessary documentation; assists individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills; delivers medications to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotation basis; participates in on-call rotation.
Requirements
- M1: Completion of educational requirements for Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in Virginia
- M2: At least one year experience within the past five years providing services to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness
- M3: Valid drivers’ license and safe driving record
Annual Salary Range
$57,001 - $99,751
