Responsibilities
- Conducting psychiatric assessments
- Assessing physical health needs
- Making appropriate referrals to community physicians
- Providing management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist/nurse practitioner
- Providing a wide range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services
- Sharing shift-management responsibilities with other staff
- Providing direct case management services to individuals
- Conducting medication education
- Performing necessary documentation
- Assisting individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills
- Delivering medications to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotation basis
- Participating in on-call rotation
Requirements
- Completion of educational requirements for Registered Nurse with a valid RN license to practice in Virginia
- At least one year experience within the past five years providing services to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness
- Valid drivers license and safe driving record
- Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request
Pay & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $58,103 - $100,853
- $5,000 Sign on Bonus
