About the role
Responsible for providing psychiatric care in an outpatient setting, working closely with patients to develop treatment plans and monitor progress.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide psychotherapy sessions and medication management as needed
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- Licensed to practice as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Experience in outpatient mental health settings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Current licensure in the state of practice
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
