Responsibilities
- Assesses plans, develops, coordinates, and provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to program individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses under the clinical supervision of the team leader and psychiatrist.
- Functions as a clinical member of the multidisciplinary team and provides treatment, rehabilitation, and support services, or may be designated by the team leader to function as the lead mental health professional.
- Assists individuals with weekly medication bag/box fills; delivers medications to the homes of individuals per morning/evening medication runs on a rotating basis; participates in on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work that includes coursework for licensure by the Virginia Department of Health Professions as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner in Virginia
- At least one year experience within the past five years providing services to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Must have, or be eligible to obtain, certification as a pre-screener for emergency hospitalization in Virginia within six months of hire
- Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request.
Pay
- Annual salary range: $51,233 - $88,832
- $8,000 Sign on Bonus
- 20% Increase for Licensure
- 10% Increase for Resident/Supervisee
