Supporting the Product Manager for the Army's United Network Modernization (UNM) organization, this role assists with cost estimating and budget activities across all life cycle phases. You will develop acquisition requirement packages and perform contracting support functions in compliance with the FAR, DFARS, AFARS, Army procedures, and PdM UNM policies.
Responsibilities
- Draft contracting memos including Justification for Exception to Fair Opportunity (JEFO) Determination and Findings, Brand Name Justifications, Limited Source Justifications, Requests for Information (RFIs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), Market Research, Letters of Concern, and Acquisition Strategy Course of Action Briefs.
- Coordinate and lead teleconferences with IPT leads, KOs, and leadership as needed.
- Generate and update spreadsheets tracking contract history, funding status, and invoice status.
- Maintain global spreadsheets for the entire portfolio of contracts.
- Maintain pre-award Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for the Program Manager.
- Generate weekly briefing slides on contracting activity.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance.
- 8–10 years of related acquisition experience.
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
- Must possess or obtain prior to start date: Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level II in Contracting (or higher) or Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting Level II (FAC-C).
