Acquisition Logistician, Journeyman

About the Role
Performs complex logistics support on policies and procedures for systems and subsystems, equipment procurement activities, project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles. Provides product assistance to the Program Manager (PM) and Product Support Manager (PSM) for the execution of the PSM’s duties as the Total Life Cycle Systems Manager. Assists sustainment teams through data analysis, acquisition management, procurement, and other associated logistics data of critical assets, insurance spares, tooling, and related parts and material.
Coordinates all logistics elements including spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the directorate's needs. Develops, modifies, prepares, and/or validates documentation related to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems and management information systems, ensuring all pertinent supply data is captured and recorded.
Assists in developing integrated support requirements for system and equipment design; developing support requirements related to readiness objectives and design; conducting specialized analyses on total life cycle cost, logistics supportability, and warranty; and providing technical assistance and consultant expertise.
Assists with developing pre- and post-award documentation for Total Life Cycle Logistics (TLCL) support; performing technical analyses, planning, and execution; and supporting the government in the review of technical specifications and documentation for Reliability, Maintainability, Quality, Supportability, and Interoperability (RMQSI) efforts to facilitate and update sustainment issues identified in the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) and Integrated Support Plan (ISP).
Responsibilities

- Develop pre- and post-award documentation for TLCL support.
- Perform technical analyses and planning for RMQSI efforts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Ten (10) years of project assistance, administrative assistance, or similar experience in public, military, non-profit, or private sectors.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
