Responsibilities
- Support a wide range of hardware procurement, inventory management, and other logistics support.
- Work with approved hardware suppliers to obtain quotes, availability, and other supplier information, and manage received hardware.
- Use various databases to locate possible sources, and engage with systems such as Navy-Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) to track purchase progress and support inventory management.
- Insert proposed purchases into RAPIDS to begin procurement, and track progress.
- Create and maintain material equipment lists, manage the creation and flow of 1149 forms, and support various Supply activities.
- Use various Operating Material& Supplies (OM&S) systems for tracking General Equipment, and support periodic audits of inventory, as per designated audit cycles.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience that includes researching available and approved supplier sources to obtain quotes, assess market availability, warranty information, delivery timelines, etc. on hardware that the U Navy wishes to procure.
- Frequent interaction with government and commercial suppliers.
- Using inventory management systems to track available hardware, inform government team members of procurement progress and available inventory.
- Familiarity with various sources of Navy hardware procurements, and typical inventory management systems used in the US Navy workspace.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, or an Associate's degree with four (4) years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with six (6) years of relevant experience.
- An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
Skills
- Experience with hardware procurement and inventory management.
- Knowledge of Navy-Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
- Ability to use various inventory management systems.
- Experience with RAPIDS for procurement.
- Experience with OM&S systems for tracking General Equipment.
- Familiarity with Navy hardware procurements and inventory management systems.
