About the role
Thompson Gray is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to provide programmatic support in acquisition and contract planning, Contract Requirement Package (CRP) development, and proposal evaluation. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable to new duties, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop complete Contract Requirements Packages (CRPs), including Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs), acquisition strategies, and market research reports.
- Support agreement closeout procedures, ensuring all obligations have been fulfilled.
- Assist with the development of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
- Assist with the evaluation of proposals and development of Technical Evaluation Reports.
- Coordinate with technical Points of Contact (POCs) on requirements development, quality assurance, and special provisions.
- Provide input for DD-254 Contract Security Classification Specifications.
- Coordinate approvals with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain CRP and contract documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in federal acquisition, with a strong preference for experience supporting the U.S. Army.
- Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Active Secret clearance.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with government procurement and financial systems, such as General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
- Familiarity with Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR).
- Strong organizational skills.
