Overview

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate screw machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.
• Document production data and report any discrepancies to supervisors.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining is a plus.
• Proven experience as a screw machinist or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
