Acct Rec Biller Collections

Location: Larkin Bldg @ Exchange Street, Buffalo, NY. Full‑time position.

Responsibilities

• Perform billing and follow‑up on denied and underpaid claims.
• Secure expected reimbursement from all responsible payers.
• Apply contractual allowances.
• Generate appeals.
• Assign self‑payment responsibility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of Patient Financial Services Billing Experience or two years medical billing experience in a hospital and/or physician environment (or equivalent combination of recent billing certification and experience).
• Sedentary work – ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
