Accreditation & Institutional Effectiveness Project Manager

About the role

Working closely with senior College leaders, this role will coordinate documentation and project workflows supporting NWCCU accreditation and the College’s COCA interim report.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project timelines, assignments, deadlines, and status updates
  • Collect, organize, format, and track accreditation narratives and supporting evidence
  • Manage files, document versions, hyperlinks, references, exhibits, and appendices
  • Identify missing materials, inconsistencies, broken links, and project risks
  • Coordinate meetings and follow up with administrators, faculty, and staff
  • Support final report assembly, formatting, and quality control

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in project coordination/management, administrative coordination, document management, institutional effectiveness, accreditation, higher education administration, or a related field preferred. Experience with NWCCU, COCA, AACSB, or other institutional or professional accreditation process is preferred but not required.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, deadlines, contributors, and documents
  • Strong judgment, follow-through, professionalism, and discretion when working with senior administrators, faculty, staff, and accreditation leaders
  • Able to manage large, complex documents and collections of supporting evidence, including documents containing extensive hyperlinks, references, exhibits, and cross-referenced materials
  • Highly organized with strong document management and version-control skills
  • Able to establish and maintain systems for project tracking: assignments, deadlines, responsible parties, status, and outstanding items
  • Comfortable following up with individuals at all levels of an organization to obtain information and keep projects moving
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, with strong proofreading and quality-control skills
  • Able to recognize missing information, inconsistencies, broken links, outdated documents, and other issues that could compromise the completeness of a submission
  • Able to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of managing priorities with limited supervision
  • Able to work effectively under deadline pressure and manage multiple competing priorities
  • Comfortable learning unfamiliar accreditation requirements, terminology, and reporting structures
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling institutional and sensitive information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, including the ability to work with large documents, tables, hyperlinks, and spreadsheets
  • Comfortable working with shared electronic files, cloud-based document systems, and other collaboration and project-management tools

Preferred

  • Familiarity with NWCCU, COCA, AACSB, or other accreditation processes
  • Experience working in higher education
  • Experience supporting accreditation reports, self-studies, interim reports, or institutional effectiveness activities
  • Experience with project-management or task-tracking software
  • Experience assembling large, complex reports with extensive supporting documentation and cross-references

Pay

Competitive pay range of $32.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
