About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Santa Fe, NM. The Manager of Project Management oversees the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects and programs that support university operations and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Define project scopes, develop timelines, and coordinate resources.
- Monitor budgets and manage risks and issues.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders and prepare status reports.
- Align project outcomes with institutional goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor project staff.
- Improve project management practices and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, public administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
- Strong project management and program management skills to lead complex initiatives and coordinate multiple workstreams.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and budgeting capabilities to interpret data, forecast needs, and manage project financials.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, prepare clear documentation, and present project updates.
- Experience managing projects in higher education, public sector, or similarly complex environments is beneficial.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
- Proficiency with project management software and standard office productivity tools.
