Responsibilities
- Cook up and support the accreditation process for CARF, ACA, and other regulatory bodies
- Conduct monthly and quarterly inspections, peer reviews, and safety committee meetings
- Maintain documentation and prepare corrective action plans when needed
- Develop a compliance calendar for staff credentials, clearances, and required training
- Facilitate new employee orientation and regional compliance training
- Aid in the development and review of agency policies in accordance with updated standards
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives
- Communicate and collaborate with internal leadership and external auditors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience (or) Master’s degree and at least 1 year of experience
- Proven ability to work across teams and adapt to various program environments
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and documentation systems
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards
- Willingness to obtain certification as an internal CARF and ACA surveyor
