Accounts Receivable Specialist - temporary assignment

About the role

FNA Group is a leading manufacturer of consumer and industrial pressure washers and other outdoor power equipment, with highly acclaimed brands including Simpson, Delco, and CRX. We also hold exclusive licenses with recognizable brands such as DeWalt, Stanley Black & Decker, and Craftsman. This is a temporary position (approximately 2 months) for an Accounts Receivable Specialist focused on B2B collections and general account setup and management, with potential for extension for high-performing individuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records related to collection activities, including sending follow-up inquiries and negotiating with past-due accounts.
• Maintain cash receipts and refer accounts to collection agencies as needed.
• Process returns, credits, and resolve dispute claims, short payments, and fines with customers.
• Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed.
• Communicate with customers to request payment and collect payments.
• Create reports and update client accounts based on payment or contact information.
• Maintain accounting records by making copies and filing documents.
• Protect the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong math aptitude and passion for working with numbers.
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability and desire to multi-task.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
• Previous experience in credit and collections is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certifications and/or training in a related field is a plus.
