Accounts Receivable Specialist (remote contract)

Job Details

Manage a portfolio of approximately 1,000 customer accounts totaling $7M in receivables.
Perform inbound and outbound collections via phone and email while maintaining excellent customer service.
Review aging reports and prioritize accounts to meet daily collection goals and performance metrics.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
Investigate invoice disputes and payment delays, escalating complex issues as needed.
Partner with internal teams to resolve account concerns efficiently.
Maintain accurate account notes and activity within company systems.

Pay Rate

$22/hour

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of collections experience (corporate Accounts Receivable preferred).
• Experience managing high-volume account portfolios and aging reports.
• Experience with Oracle, Salesforce, Billtrust, and Esker is preferred.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Proven ability to meet collection goals, quotas, and daily performance metrics.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
