Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

Precision Pumping Systems (PPS) is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for invoicing customers, resolving payment and billing issues, assisting with bank account reconciliations, and supporting the Controller with various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Invoicing our customers
• Working with customers to resolve payment and billing issues
• Helping identify areas where we can improve our customer deposit process and collection of the same
• Assisting with bank account reconciliations
• Assisting the Controller with various accounting tasks
• Answering inbound telephone calls

Essential Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• A positive, results-oriented attitude
• Able to handle a wide variety of work and a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate competency with Quickbooks, accounting software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Comfortable with math and calculations and basic data entry skills
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to generate reports and find cost-saving opportunities
• At least 1 year of previous office experience required
• Previous A/R experience helpful
• Strong attention to detail and good listening and communication skills - both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with customers and staff while providing high levels of service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience a plus
