About the role
This is a Monday-Friday, in-office and hourly role on the Accounting Team at Ole Tyme Produce.
Responsibilities
- Monitor customer account receivables for discrepancies (missed invoices, short and overpays)
- Handle credit concerns from customers
- Track customer purchases and allowances
- Balance weekly and/or monthly customer statements
- Handle customer calls concerning missed invoices, short pay or balances
- Prepare daily bank ACH and check deposits and apply deposit details in receivables
- Generate customer statements weekly, monthly, and when requested
- Process customer credit cards and email confirmations
- Perform accounts payable tasks for support as needed
- Perform other tasks, jobs and/or assignments as directed by supervisor or management
Requirements
- Must have excellent organizational skills
- Trustworthy and capacity for discretion related to company financial matters
- Capable of resolving conflicts with customers and/or vendors
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable contacting customers for past-due balances
- Must be a team player
