About the role

Tracking insurance payments in EPIC and resolving payment issues is a really important role at Main Line Health. Our Accounts Receivable Specialists don't just track numbers; they work on process improvements, appeals, and account resolutions. If you're good with numbers and attention to detail, and a results‑driven problem solver, this may be the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities

• Track insurance payments in EPIC
• Resolve payment issues
• Work on process improvements
• Handle appeals
• Perform account resolutions

Requirements

• Two/Three years healthcare billing experience and/or accounts receivable experience utilizing automated patient accounting systems (Epic Resolute desirable)

Skills

• Microsoft Office applications experience
• Intermediate Excel proficiency required

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred: Knowledge of insurance contracts, billing regulations, and medical terminology
• Preferred: Knowledge of HCPCS/CPT/ICD-10 and revenue codes
• Desirable: Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)/AAHAM or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR)/HFMA
