Responsibilities
- Manage the entire accounts receivable process, including creating and sending out invoices, managing collection efforts, and ensuring timely payments.
- Apply cash receipts to customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies in the accounting records.
- Process credits, adjustments, and rebates accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct account research and analysis, and prepare aging reports.
- Communicate with customers regarding their billing and payment issues and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the sales team to resolve customer issues and improve the accounts receivable process.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounts receivable role, preferably in the sales industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, cash application, credits, adjustments, and rebates.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Pay
$60,000 - $65,000 per year
