About the role
We're looking for a motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist with a strong collections focus to join our growing AR team. This role owns outreach on past-due accounts, reconciliations, and account research, with the opportunity to eventually run our team's monthly regional collections call directly with regional leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of accounts with a focus on collections outreach, including phone-based collection calls.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies; reconcile accounts.
- Monitor aging reports and identify collection risk.
- Support invoicing and billing as needed.
- Eventually own our monthly regional collections call with regional leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve customer issues.
Requirements
- 2+ years of AR or collections experience.
- Comfortable and confident on the phone with clients.
- Strong Excel skills; comfortable with detailed, manual processes.
- High attention to detail.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting a plus, not required.

Pay
$24 - $28 per hour

We're a privately held, global company that helps organizations manage short-term housing needs for their people, from employees relocating to new cities to teams sent out on extended work assignments. We operate across multiple markets and brands, and our finance function is in growth mode right now, adding headcount and replacing outdated systems as the company scales. Our AR team is focused on modernization, and we're in the early stages of an ERP transition, which means this team has real say in how AR operates going forward. It's a small, close-knit group where you'll work directly with leadership rather than getting lost in a big org chart.
