Accounts Receivable Specialist

This role operates within a Manila-based full-service travel agency that handles domestic and international destinations, various trip types, activities, optional tours, and visa assistance. The Accounts Receivable Specialist ensures financial record integrity by maintaining clear separation between confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Review accounts receivable invoices, ensuring each checkpoint includes a visible source, owner, status, and next action within the travel agency’s operational context.
• Document role-specific financial records with status tracking, maintaining traceability for all accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain reconciliation processes with deadline management, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Reconcile documentation with reporting, ensuring all financial records are accurate and aligned with agency operations.
• Coordinate quality control and workflow management, surfacing repeated errors before they lead to downstream rework.
• Apply data accuracy standards without losing track of evidence or deadlines in the accounts receivable workflow.
• Document process compliance and escalate issues with clear reasoning, ensuring decisions are traceable within the agency’s context.
• Exercise judgment in follow-up actions, particularly when accounts receivable tasks depend on external confirmations rather than assumptions.
• Ensure role-specific handoffs are complete by maintaining current issue escalation, exception tracking, and documentation.

Requirements

• Confident use of Gladex Travel and Tours Corp workflows and financial records in the context of a full-service travel agency.
• Ability to maintain financial record integrity under the specific demands of domestic and international travel operations.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work is traceable and unresolved items have clear ownership.
• Proficiency in accounts-focused, receivable-focused, and specialized-execution tasks within the travel industry.

Pay

Base salary: $43,000–$65,000 per year.

Schedule

Full-time, 100% remote within the United States.
