Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

Fly My Group is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to work across group airfare, airline reservations, ticketing, schedule changes, group traveler support, account service, and travel operations. This role is centered on maintaining accurate accounting records, reconciliations, invoices, payments, and routine financial transactions. It is a full-time, 100% remote position open to candidates throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Record or review day-to-day financial transactions in the approved accounting system.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, expense records, or account activity with complete supporting documentation.
• Reconcile bank, card, vendor, customer, or ledger balances and investigate unexplained differences across group airfare and traveler operations.
• Maintain organized financial files and support month-end close, account review, and audit preparation.
• Prepare routine financial summaries, aging reports, reconciliations, or transaction reports while supporting group airfare and traveler operations.
• Handle banking, vendor, customer, and company financial information confidentially.

Requirements

• Strong numerical accuracy and comfort using spreadsheets and accounting or finance systems.
• Understanding of basic accounting, reconciliation, invoice, payment, or ledger concepts.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and maintain complete supporting documentation.
• Professional communication when following up with vendors, customers, or internal teams.
• High discretion when handling banking and financial information.
• A pre-employment background check and, where applicable to this position and permitted by law, credit screening are required.

Pay

$52,000 - $59,500 per year
