About the role

The A/R Specialist is responsible for resolving tasks and activities related to collecting and servicing of client accounts, monitoring and maintaining a portfolio of accounts, researching client information to support routine collection duties, and generating outstanding receivable and ledger reports to resolve specific client concerns relating to billing and payment activity.

Responsibilities

  • Independent resolution of tasks and activities related to collecting and servicing of client accounts
  • Maintenance of a portfolio of accounts
  • Researching client information to support routine collection duties
  • Generating outstanding receivable and ledger reports to resolve specific client concerns relating to billing and payment activity
  • Completion of monthly reports by firm deadlines
  • Recommendations for the processing of invoices balances pursuant to firm policies

Requirements

  • An associate’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field
  • In lieu of a degree, at least 5 years of related professional experience in a legal collection or customer service environment
  • Familiarity with FDCPA collection restrictions
  • Proficiency with MS Office

Qualifications

  • Self-directed and thrive in a busy, time-sensitive environment
  • Flexibility to work additional hours, especially in the fourth quarter of the year

Pay

The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $24.00 - $31.25 hourly/$50,000 - $65,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.

Schedule

This position is eligible for overtime pay and is hybrid.
