Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern systems, contribute to process improvements, and be part of a dynamic accounting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Access NetSuite daily to review bank transactions and accurately match customer payments to open invoices
• Record and apply payments, mark invoices as paid, and maintain accurate AR records
• Manage the AR inbox, including monitoring incoming emails and following up with customers on outstanding balances (email only)
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations by coding transactions and ensuring statements align with system records
• Maintain organization, accuracy, and attention to detail across all AR processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Associ’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections
• Familiarity with NetSuite (ERP) or ability to learn systems quickly
• Experience with other ERP systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
