Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Specifics Department: Administrative/Accounting Reports to: AR Manager Supervises: None Purpose Process accounts receivable activities, which include maintaining customer accounts, reconciling accounts receivables general ledger accounts, and processing customer statements on behalf of all dealership locations. Essential Functions Accurately maintains customer accounts receivable records including tax affidavits, applies customer payments, and makes changes to customer information.Answers and resolves questions regarding customer accounts, both in-house and JD Multi Use.Reconciles accounts receivable general ledger accounts which includes identifying discrepancies and determining corrective action.Monitors aged accounts and supports with collection processes.Assesses and provides notification of compliance issues with the dealership’s credit policies.Prepares various accounting reports such as aged accounts receivable.Prepares, mails/emails, and reconciles customer statements.Generates Employee AR Payroll Deduction reports for Payroll cycles.Maintains confidentiality with regard to customer account information.Assists other co-workers with related tasks, as necessary.
