About the role

The AR Representative IV position is responsible for generating and submitting timely health insurance billing claims and/or patient statements. A subject matter expert in billing, including oversight of staff working on open aging accounts. Oversees team follow-up processes on unpaid claims and resubmission of unpaid claim documents. Assists staff in the appeal process to resolve disputes in contested billing and initiate collection of patient co-payments, deductibles, and open balance amounts through telephone contact, letters, etc. Responsible for A/R trending and department resource allocation concerning the current need for revenue cycle management and revenue recovery.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Trade/Technical School certification OR coursework towards BS/BA with a focus on Business preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of billing and collections experience is required.
• A healthcare background is strongly preferred with an emphasis on Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Pay

$26.91 - $33.53 hourly

Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
