Accounts Receivable Invoice and Collections Associate

Responsibilities

• Apply payment accurately, with attention to payment discrepancies when necessary
• Communicate and build relationships with internal and external contacts via phone and email, including the ability to follow up on a regular basis
• Invoice orders, process and apply payments, generate daily reports regarding any payment or invoicing discrepancies, track invoices, while keeping up with incoming phone calls and emails
• Keep detailed logs of any pending issues with cash application and actions to close the issue
• Adapt to constant process and procedure improvements and changes as new automation is implemented
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to operate a computer
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Must be able to communicate clearly in person or on the phone
• Maintain a strong work ethic and prioritize responsibilities
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Organized and detail oriented

Preferred Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Previous experience in accounting preferred
