Accounts Receivable Collections Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain KPIs to monitor cash flow and profitability
• Oversee collections department using multiple operating systems
• Escalate collection risks to business owners
• Coordinate with credit team for delinquent customers
• Manage and coordinate proper documentation for write-offs
• Review industry and economic events impacting operations
• Generate and review reporting for delinquent accounts and collection measurements
• Perform month-end close reporting activities
• Follow up on identified issues and discrepancies
• Manage conference calls to resolve ongoing collection issues
• Train and familiarize staff with current collection policies and procedures
• Monitor A/R portfolio for delinquent accounts and balances over limits
• Review, maintain, and generate reporting for delinquent accounts and other collection measurements
• Evaluate staff performance and recommend training and development
• Aid Revenue Cycle Director and other management personnel
• Perform special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• Minimum 4 years of Accounts Receivable management experience, preferably within Logistics industry
• Strong knowledge and understanding of standard accounts receivable/collection procedures
• Excellent analytical and financial analysis skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while paying attention to detail
• Ability to gather and interpret data, compile information, and prepare reports
• Ability to train new hires in policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Excel
• Experience with MS D365 / SAP (a plus)
• Willingness to work overtime depending on business demands
