Accounts Receivable

Parts ASAP is looking for a Part Time Accounts Receivable person who's just as comfortable working a spreadsheet as they are picking up the phone. This role sits at the intersection of finance and relationships — you'll keep our accounts current, our customers informed, and our Sales team in the loop, all while building genuine rapport along the way.

Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM — Part Time

Location

Hudson, WI — in-office required

Responsibilities

• Owning aging and collections — monitoring past-due accounts and driving them toward resolution
• Making daily outbound calls to follow up on invoices and collect payments
• Preparing, posting, and verifying customer payments and AR transactions
• Generating and sending invoices, statements, and past-due notices
• Collaborating closely with the Sales team to clarify invoicing questions and process corrections
• Maintaining and updating customer account files (address changes, mergers, mailing attentions)
• Reviewing credit applications and processing tax exemption certificates
• Researching discrepancies and reconciling accounts with support from the AR Manager
• Processing chargebacks and filing disputes as needed
• Assisting with monthly billing statements and revenue account reconciliation

Requirements

• A social, people-first personality — you're comfortable on the phone every day
• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of related experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and sharp attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and shifting needs

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Associate's/Bachelor's in accounting
• ERP system experience
• Credit management knowledge
