The Accounts Receivable Associate position at Acme Tools requires a solution-oriented professional with strong people skills, a dynamic mindset, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Researching credit applications and updating customer accounts
- Preparing and sending monthly account statements and past due reminders to customers
- Responding to sales tax related questions
- Conducting credit investigations for new credit and finance applications
- Completing credit reference requests
- Researching and resolving payment discrepancies
- Reconciling customer disputes and short or skipped payments
- Participating in weekly meetings with management on progress and status of open issues
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
A degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred. Prior experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections is required. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are necessary. Excellent attention to detail, effective and professional communication skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Full-time hours (40 hours/week) during our hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
