The ideal candidate takes ownership of overdue accounts, follows through consistently, and delivers measurable results while maintaining professional communication. Responsibilities: Pursue outstanding balances from insurance companies, residents, and responsible parties.Resolve payment delays, billing discrepancies, and disputed balances.Maintain accurate records of collection efforts, payments, and follow-up actions.Reduce aging receivables and meet collection goals. Qualifications: Proven experience in healthcare collections; skilled nursing experience preferred.Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and follow accounts through to resolution.
