Accounts Receivable Analyst

Responsibilities

• Reconciling customer invoices and sales transactions.
• Recording and posting payments via checks, ACH, wire, and credit cards, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitoring accounts receivable aging, implementing collection strategies, and negotiating payment plans.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes with financial insights.
• Resolving customer disputes, maintaining strong client relationships, and collaborating with sales, finance, and customer service teams for accurate billing and timely payments.
• Maintaining accurate customer files, tracking changes, and updating relevant information.
• Performing sales tax payments and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting principles, AR processes, and industry regulations.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills for handling financial data.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 50, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred, with 1-2 years of experience.
• Excellent communication and phone skills.
