About the role
We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist I for our Copperfield location in NW Houston.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing, verifying and processing vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring proper approvals are obtained and identifying discrepancies.
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Investigating and resolving any variances prior to payment processing.
- Entering invoice data, preparing and processing check runs, ACH payments and wire transfers while ensuring records are complete, accurate and timely.
Requirements
An associates degree is preferred with a minimum of one year of accounting or related experience required.
