Accounts Payable Specialist (E4A Solutions – A Subsidiary of Riot Platforms)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Prepare and review expense reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper coding.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to payables and month-end close activities.
• Maintain accounts and reconcile discrepancies using strong analytical skills.
• Support financial reporting and assist with audits as needed.
• Communicate professionally regarding payment status and inquiries to vendors.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting with experience supporting accounts payable operations.
• Proficiency in accounting or ERP software and strong MS Excel skills.
• Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, professional approach with vendors and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts payable or similar finance role.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
